Contending for a Wholly Given Generation
Joel 2 / Ps 24

Presented by Thai Lam, Luke 18 Project

Synopsis: Joel 2 calls us to give ourselves to fasting and prayer for the repentance of a nation that the “Lord might turn, relent and leave a blessing behind Him.”  How do we as a generation contend for our campus and our nation that does not fear the Lord and has little regard for righteousness? We will look at God’s holy prescription for His people to stand in the gap on behalf of an unrighteous people that mercy might triumph over judgment.

Bio: Thai Lam and his wife, Angela, serve as the Directors of Campus Prayer Movement for the Luke18 Project based out of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, MO.  Thai is committed to calling a generation to be wholly given to a consecrated lifestyle of intimacy, intercession, and proclamation.  Before moving to Kansas City, Thai pioneered campus ministries at UC Berkeley, San Jose State, Stanford, and UCLA for 7 years and served on the national leadership team of Every Nation Campus Ministries.  Thai has also served as an associate pastor to a church in San Jose and as a team chaplain for the San Jose State Football and Basketball Teams.
