Women with Potential
Presented by Beth Fitch and Jo Saxton
Synopsis: When God made women, what on earth was he thinking? Seriously, what exactly was on his mind? This session will explore the lives and times of some key Biblical women, enabling us to get a fresh vision and perspective on our purpose and calling today.
Bio: In 2000, Beth Fitch was an angry, agnostic attorney who had all the trappings of secular success. She was the managing partner of a law firm, the president of an 800 member non-profit corporation, and a pro-tem judge; yet she felt this overwhelming sense of emptiness. After she attended the Alpha Course, her life was transformed as she developed a relationship with Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit touched her deeply, melting away years of anger, fear and anxiety. Life would never be the same, as she took the message that transformed her life and shared it with anyone who’d listen. She currently practices law part time, serves as a consultant to Alpha Arizona and is the President of GloWorks, Inc, a non-profit that connects music to mission.
Jo Saxton is originally from London, England, but has lived in Phoenix, AZ since 2004. She works as a church consultant for 3DMinistries and is a speaker, writer and leadership coach. Jo is passionate that women of every age, stage and culture discover their identity in Christ and all that He has for them. She is married to a wonderful guy named Chris, a Lutheran pastor leading an urban church in downtown Phoenix. They have two gorgeous daughters, Tia (3) and Zoe (2). Her passions include decaf caramel macchiatos, shoes, Ugly Betty and SuperTarget.
