Commissioning the Creative Arts in this Generation

Presented by Heidi Ngai, CIVA (Christians in Visual Arts)

Synopsis: This is a time in history when the creative arts has been taken to all new levels with the technology available today, yet it remains sacred. Painting, drawing, dancing and singing are God’s precious gifts to worship and also to transform our world. There is a new Renaissance coming to our generation and now is the time that God wants to use His artists! It seems in the past years the artist has been devalued, ignored or at the very least shunned as a profession. But, by no coincidence, God is drawing His artist’s back for this appointed time. As artists we have credibility to address what many others cannot, such as injustice, the culture and reform. The battle is coming! He needs His artist’s just as He did in the old testament, to go before the army, playing music, painting His truth, singing of hope and setting the captives free!
