Personal Evangelism: Understanding the ‘Theology’ of the Millennials 11am

Presented by Dr. Bobby Brewer, City of Grace

Synopsis: The implications of postmodernism are having a radical impact upon the North American church. Most young adult leaders and workers have noticed the change but are perplexed about how to address it. Understanding the emerging culture is much deeper than simply dressing casual and tweaking worship styles.

This session will be appealing to those who desire an inside look at understanding the mindsets of collegians and young adults as well as a glimpse into the innovation behind some of the leaders who are intentionally ministering within the emerging generation.

Bio: Dr. Robert “Bobby” Brewer is a product of Gen-X who is pastor of Vertigo, the young adult ministry of City of Grace, a multi-site church with campuses in Scottsdale and Mesa Arizona. While working on his doctorate, Brewer surveyed over 50 North American churches that are intentionally striving to minister to postmoderns. He is the author of “Postmodernism: What You Should Know and Do about It”. Bobby drives an 83 El Camino and resides in Fountain Hills, AZ with his wife and their cat, Tigger.
