Living in the truth of our Communion with God
Presented by Wendy Andrews, 24-7 Prayer
Synopsis: This discussion group will be an interactive time, following up from Friday night’s main session on “Communion with God”. Let’s make it practical: You’ll be equipped with a discipleship tool, designed to help you identify and turn from every lie and hindrance blocking your experience of the love of God. The enemy and our own pain, sin, and brokenness militate against us having true, experiential understanding of God’s free, unconditional love. However, God is firmly committed to walking us into ever-increasing freedom and into daily life lived in His love and presence, more committed than you could ever be for yourself! Let’s talk about how we can see the John 14:20 kind of Communion with God become more real in our lives: “In that day, you will know that I am in My Father, you are in Me, and I am in you.” Bring your hard questions, open and honest dialogue, and yourself exactly where you’re at!
Bio: Wendy Andrews hails from Madison, Wisconsin, where she earned a degree in Social Welfare and served for 3 years coordinating a discipleship training community at a thriving young church. Early in 2005, God led Wendy into the wildfire movement of 24-7 Prayer in the USA, helping to catalyze prayer across the country. Based in Kansas City and part of the Boiler Room church community there, Wendy gives the majority of her time to Campus America, an initiative to see 24-7 prayer hit every campus in America. Her focus is building the Campus America team, networking & connecting, and communicating God’s dream for Campus America. She loves East Asia and the ghetto and hopes to live in both places someday.
